This free weekly meal planner is for anyone who wants to settle what's for dinner before the week starts: families, couples, roommates or people cooking for one. You keep a small collection of recipe cards, place them on the days of the week, and keep a grocery checklist alongside. The “This Week” page shows your recipe count, planned meals, items left to buy and average cook time.
Everything is saved in the browser on this device, and nothing is uploaded to a server. There is no account to create. The app opens with sample recipes, a seven-day plan and a grocery list, so you can see how it works. Edit or delete them, then add your own. Clearing your browser data will remove what you saved.
How to use it
- Open the “Recipes” tab to see the sample recipe cards. Click “Add” to open the “New Recipe” dialog, fill in the name, cuisine, cook time, servings, photo and notes, then press “Save”.
- Use the menu on a recipe card to edit or delete it. “Cancel” closes a dialog without changing anything.
- Go to “Meal Plan” to see the week as a board with one lane per day, Monday to Sunday. Add a meal, choose a day and a recipe, and add an optional note.
- Open “Grocery List” and add what you need with the “Add an item” form (item and quantity), then press “Add to list”.
- Tick the checkbox next to a grocery item when you've bought it.
- Check “This Week” for a quick summary of recipes, planned meals, groceries still to buy and average cook time.
